I love these, would it be possible to have it in a horizontal version. I tried to customize it and the calendar messed up. Thank you

      • pensandart April 3, 2015 at 11:43 pm

Hi Elizabeth – can you clarify what you mean by horizontal version? I am picturing a week on two pages, with the days of the week in sections like any typical calendar would have? And what size? You’re not the first who’s asked for a horizontal layout, so I’ll see what I can do. I’ve not had as much time to update these the past month or so, but can move it up the list, maybe in a few weeks. πŸ™‚

      • Elizabeth April 4, 2015 at 1:23 am

It is the week on 2 pages for a junior size. Monday to Wednesday on one page and Thursday to Sunday on page 2. I am currently using the ARC junior sized calendar but I do not like it. I would gladly wait until you have time. Thank you so much.

I am a Levenger devotee but tonight discovered Erin Condren and am now obsessively going through Pinterest – can’t get rid of my Levenger flexibility. Found this post and wanted to THANK YOU for the free downloads – you made my night – and actually my year!!! Thank you! l

I’m so excited to make this work…I’ve been looking for a new monthly insert for my junior since Levenger’s preprinted puts Sat/Sun at the end of the week and I just can’t do that. But when I unzip yours, many of the months are incomplete or split and don’t match up or duplicated. Help! am I doing something wrong?

    • pensandart January 9, 2015 at 4:06 pm Reply

Hi MT! Glad you like the monthly pages! The seeming disorganization of the pages is intentional. It’s meant to be printed on letter size paper, double-sided, and then cut in half. If you read the section halfway down the page titled “How to Print”, it explains why the order is the way it is.

My life has been calling out for COLOUR COLOUR COLOUR this year…and I’ve decided to change from my beloved moleskine pages to your gorgeous layout to help with my fresh start this year πŸ˜‰ Just printed it off and they area already makingme happier. Maybe you should call it the “Happy Pretty Planner!”

Aww, yay Cori!! I hope the colors continue to do their magic every time you look at them. πŸ˜€ If you think of any improvements let me know! I’ll file away the name idea for a future update, and say it’s the ‘now even happier!’ edition hahaha.

I really love the look of this – so pretty, but would really love an equal sized column for Saturday and Sunday…they are often busier than the week days with all the family’s sports and activities. Any chance that in the future you may have a 7 column set up with a full column for Saturday and Sunday.

    • Linda Coombes January 13, 2015 at 12:27 pm Reply

Ooops, just saw you did have a 7 day one. It starts on a Sunday, is it customisable to start on a Monday…just how my mind works as a week. Absolutely beautiful work.

      • pensandart January 14, 2015 at 1:35 pm

Hi again Linda! I’m not sure which one you’re talking about specifically – the Pretty Pretty Planner monthly pages start on Sunday, but the weekly start on Monday. I have other weekly templates under my DIY Planner Templates Junior page, are you referring to those? All of my planners are customizable in that I’ve posted them in Microsoft Word 2010 format, so people can edit them to their own ideal needs before printing. πŸ™‚

    • pensandart January 14, 2015 at 1:32 pm Reply

Thanks Linda! It is true that the weekends are the busiest days. Unfortunately I really wanted weekly columns the same width as the Erin Condren planner, so I could use all the super cute stickers on Etsy. And the only way to fit them that wide into a Junior layout was to sacrifice the weekend days. I may consider a version with all 7 days, perhaps an undated version, but the columns would be really narrow to fit them all in.

Linda, I think if you check tonight’s post you might find something more to your liking! πŸ˜€

You have been teasing me too long with these on FB but I can’t get it to download. I have tried several pages, sizes, etc and get a message with each that says:

    This page can’t be displayed
β€’Make sure the web address is correct.
β€’Look for the page with your search engine.
β€’Refresh the page in a few minutes.

Hi Leslie! I’m sorry you were having issues download these files, but I’ve heard from several other people who were able to access MediaFire successfully. I tried myself tonight and had family try, and the download links worked for us too. Is it possible there’s some kind of browser conflict, you know one of those situations where pop-ups need to be allowed or something like that? I’m not sure what else to suggest right now. If there’s a particular file you wanted I’d be happy to try and email it to you!

  9. Leslie Blaine Roscoe January 17, 2015 at 2:01 pm Reply

I will try to access it from another computer this weekend. Even when I go directly to mediafire’s address I get the same error. Odd, indeed, but typical for my world. πŸ™‚

Faustine, I was able to get it to work from my personal laptop. Yay! Apparently mediafire is blocked at work. Shame on them for wanting me to be deprived of organizational tools. πŸ™‚ Now to have fun playing with it before printing.

First, thank you so much for files in Microsoft Word so I can customize them for my needs. Quick question regarding the tabs. I don’t see printing instructions for them. I don’t have the page flags like yours pictured so I wasn’t exactly sure what to do after viewing the file. Any guidance would be appreciated as I prefer to use a tab for the months. Thanks!

    • pensandart January 26, 2015 at 4:22 pm Reply

Hi LaDonna! These tabs are pretty rough, as I’ve never made them before. But I copied what I saw other template designers including in their own planner packages, and thought I’d share my efforts. Basically, you print them on a thicker paper, cut them out around the boxes, and then fold each months tab in half, and glue or tape or someway attach the bottoms of the folded tab to each side of the page, like a little sandwich. It’s pretty labor-intensive, and how sturdy the tabs end up being completely depends on your paper and glue used. Hope that helps!

    • pensandart February 2, 2015 at 4:33 am Reply

Hi Karina. Thanks for your kind words! I don’t have any plans to do a Monday start in the Letter size right now. That’s not to say I won’t ever, just that I’m picking and choosing my versions right now as I’m getting a little burnt out on these pages. Luckily they are in Word format, so if that’s something you really need, it wouldn’t be too hard to reorder the day labels and dates to start on Monday on your own. Just time consuming! But I’m always changing my mind, so maybe in a few weeks I’ll feel differently. Thanks again. πŸ™‚

      • Jody Gargiulo March 11, 2015 at 1:01 am

Oh if I knew how to do it, I would help you. I’d actually offer to pay you a bit to redo it with Monday as a start and still have the big sat and sun columns. Please don’t burn out, we all want 2016 as this is so pretty to look at every day.

      • pensandart March 11, 2015 at 1:21 am

Aw, thanks Jody! I replied to your other comment – I’m a little confused as to which planner page and size you’re wishing for – monthly/weekly, and letter or junior? Also, no worries about 2016! I will for sure do a 2016 version, just maybe a few less versions, cause I got a little crazy this year doing all kinds of variations. πŸ˜€

I printed the first six pages of the Junior monthly, cut them and they do not lay out to correctly. The back side of the second page for February printed the first page of May. First page of March has 2nd page of April and second page of March has first page of June. When I printed them, I printed the odd pages first, turned them over and printed the even pages. Am I missing something? Please advise, I would love to use these pages. I appreciate the time, planning and effort it takes to set these up. Thanks

    • pensandart February 15, 2015 at 6:08 am Reply

Hi Susan, I’m glad you like them! To print, it’s not as easy as just flipping them over to print on the other side – did you reverse the order of the pages before printing on the other side? That means if you take the stack of odd pages out of the printer, imagine that each page from the front of the stack to the back is labeled A, B, C and so on. Take A, lay it down face up. Put B on top, then C, and so on. Then print the even pages on them however you normally do. That ensures they all get printed in the correct order. Hope that helps!

Hi Faustine (Kinjal here from the APA Facebook Group!). These look awesome! I just wondered if there was any chance of an A4/A5 version, as I’m struggling to print them properly on our weird European size paper πŸ˜€

    • pensandart March 2, 2015 at 4:39 am Reply

Hi Kinjal! I’m not sure what is involved in creating A4/A5 versions – since they are Microsoft Word files, I think under page setup different page sizes can be selected, but I’ve not tried it. I have a sneaking suspicion that the tables my planner is designed with may have to be adjusted though to fit the larger size, which is considerably more work. So to answer your question, I don’t have plans to do a A4/A5 version right now, but will let you know if things change! πŸ™‚

Oh and for the 2016 maybe you could take a vote later on in the year and see which planners folks like and make those. Its just so fantastic you share these. It is the Prettiest Planner out here.

So sorry. The page you sent is the page I’m using now and I love it. But it starts on Sunday and ends on Saturday. I’d like to have the monthly page have Sat and Sunday at the end of the week. I manage a campground and like to block out the week end as its the busiest time. I would dream of having the weekly page go the same way, but I get you are busy and you are not my personal designer. Again, I’d offer to pay for both those changes.

So I printed out all the new weekly pages that start on a Monday after I reinserted the new monthly pages that started on a Monday. For me this is great, as I manage a campground and week ends are busy busy. Your new format changed and shoot, I like the old page format with the check list and the meals and the dates on top. So now I’m not sure how I’m going to use this, as I like the new monthly and the old weekly format that went along with it. In 2016 may I suggest you “take orders” and then you won’t have to keep changing the format and you can get paid for your time? So maybe you’d have one type format and any changes can be done, for pay. I’m sure tons of us would pay you for these planners as they are so beautiful and for me better than the high priced ones you see out here online.

    • pensandart April 9, 2015 at 3:37 am Reply

Hi Jody. Sorry about that, I guess I should have asked what format you wanted. It was the easiest at the time to just do the blank columns version, but tonight I’ve uploaded another version with the traditional Pretty Pretty Planner layout, but starting on a Monday. Hopefully that works better! I appreciate your suggestions for next year too, I’ll keep them in mind.

Hi Renee! I don’t have a Kikki-K so am not sure of its dimensions – they are probably listed on the Kikki-K website though. My Junior pages are 5.5″ x 8.5″, and the Letter size are 8.5″ x 11″ – so it depends on which one is closer to the Kikki-K Personal size. Of you have to shrink them down, I’d say download the PDF links, as they might shrink better. But I haven’t tried shrinking my refills down myself. Good luck! πŸ™‚
