DIY Planner Templates

I have a fondness (sickness? haha) for creating my own DIY Planner inserts to use in my beloved discbound Levenger Circa/Staples Arc notebooks. I’m very particular about my grid patterns and am always on the hunt for trying new formats and methods and planner ideas, so go through them A LOT. And quickly learned its a LOT cheaper to try and recreate them rather than buy everything I wanted to try, haha. So pick a size to get started!

Do you feel it was worth purchasing the arc punch? I have considered it – I used to use the A5 size arc system but was tired of purchasing refills. I now create a number of printables and enjoyed the arc discs but hesitate in spending the money for the punch. Thoughts?

The Arc punch is fine, I have it and enjoy it. But if you want to save up for a punch, get the Levenger Circa punch instead. I recently did, and it’s loads better! It creates bigger punches, so pages turn on the discs easier. This is especially important if you use bigger discs. I consider a punch essential if you create your own printables like you said. Especially because there’s really no other way to punch them unless you have a friend with one! Perhaps you could find deals for a used punch on Ebay to save some $$$. Good luck!

Will these work in a Franklin Covey compact or Filofax personal planner?

Hi Kristy! They are designed for 8.5 x 5.5 pages (half letter size), so probably closer to FC Classic. I have no experience with Filofax so not sure what that equivalent would be. 🙂

Re: Kristy – I was talking about the Junior size templates here in my comment, not sure if either the Junior or Letter sizes can be shrunk down to Compact, I’ve never tried that before.

I thank you very much for your generosity in sharing this template. I can’t tell you how long I’ve searched for a planner in a .doc file that I can edit. You have made my day. Life. You’ve made my life. Thank you.

Thank you so much for sharing these – they truly are, fantastic. I hope you don’t mind, but I have shared these around my Virtual Assistant network, as some of us use Passion Planner, which is incredibly expensive to ship to the UK. Sadly, I read that you’ve had issues with people stealing your designs and selling them – how frustrating and extremely disappointing for you. I hope you manage to resolve this for 2017, but just to let you know that I would still pay for your hard work and effort on these.
