Pretty Pretty Planner Wish List

I’m always willing to consider new ideas and improvements for future planners. Integrating the monthly calendars with the weekly pages was a common request the past couple of years, and I’ve finally made it work this year. So what are some other wish list items you’d like to see? I’ve heard requests for Academic Year planners, Sunday start planners, and A4/A5 size planners. I know for myself personally, I’d love to try and get a Mini Happy Planner sized template to work too. Maybe even A6. So this is the second part – along with my other post asking what layouts are actually getting used – in getting some info on what to keep updating from year to year. Cause if I add more versions, maybe they will replace something else that is not as popular? Who knows yet. That’s why I’m asking you!

In the meantime, I have been pondering whether I want to add more “color schemes” to the Pretty Pretty Planner. So far there is the “classic” (rainbow) and black and white versions already. What about a Pastels version?

Or maybe a Jewel Tones version?

So let’s start a joint idea list (comment yours here!), and maybe when planning for next year I can be testing out some ideas.

Personally I like the rainbow but the pastels look nice as well. Most of my planners are A5 so I use the junior size. One for the Garden and one for the diary this year.

I like the rainbows as well as the pastels. As a teacher, the academic planner would be awesome!

I think a mini happy planner size insert would be awesome! Any color scheme would be great! Thanks for sharing your hard work with all of us!

Is it possible to get more space for the weekend? I cannot fit all our plans in……

For Junior size, it gets incredibly tricky to put 7 full size columns without making them super narrow – which is why in most of these, the weekends get shorted. But thanks for the suggestion! I will keep it in mind and see if I can come up with anything!

I love the current color for both the junior horizontal and letter sized monthly Monday start calendars.

I am a teacher and would love to have the letter size Monday start monthly spread to include planning or notes on the reverse side of each monthly spread for planning purposes. Also, would it be possible to create a double-sided lesson plan 2 page spread which we could simply print multiple times as needed. Seven subjects across the top and Monday through Friday down the left side similar to an Erin Condren or Teacher Happy Planner style? I can send a photo of what I use now as an example if it would be helpful. Keeping each Monthly spreads with notes independent from lesson planner pages would allow teachers to choose either to group their lessons with each month or keep the months and lesson planner pages separate from one another. I would need all 12 months, not just September through June.

Is there a letter size horizontal like the smaller size has?

Hi Katie – there is not a letter size horizontal right now. I will consider it for future versions though!

I really like the current color scheme. As someone who works with kids and families, it works well as it’s bright and fun, but still looks nice when I’m in meetings. I’ve used your business hourly pages for the last 2-3 years and they are exactly what I need. Please continue to make those. They work so well for me. A page I make for myself and use in planning my to dos for work is a week on one page that is split down the middle with Monday to Friday on the left side for day specific tasks and a column on the right that is just a list of to dos for the week. I made the most recent page using your new/ sample junior size grid pages. It turned out well, though I’m not sure if the grid size is too small for me. I’ll try it for a few weeks and see what happens. Thanks for all your hard work on these planner pages. They work so well for me and I always start stalking your page about October- November to see if you’ll be doing them again for the next year. 🙂
